Infoseek, now the search engine portion of Go, is a good overall
search engine. It offers many advanced search features, as well as the other features of
the Go Network, such as email and shopping. The database seems large, and while this
allows for more relevant search results, it seems like the search algorithm is not very
discriminating, when searching without any operators. The use of advanced search engine commands would be very helpful for an Infoseek search. Infoseek
doesn't stress it, but it does offer a large category based listing.

and the search feature seems overshadowed by other Go Network features. |

Some results are garbled and illegible. These may be in a
different character set or something, but they are distracting and worthless in most
cases. |
